2021 Company Retreat Recap
We have been staying busy here at truED! We not only welcomed new team members, but also had our first in-person company retreat! Below is a brief summary of all the work and fun:
Day 1:
Nothing beats a bit of friendly competition when getting a group together. So go-carting seemed like the perfect activity.
The competition was fierce as each team member had to win the best time in 3 rounds! And the final winner was: Solomon!
Dinner at Guard & Grace
Along with fun and play, we also enjoyed a great meal with some of the Anaplan team as well. Nothing can beat good company, amazing steak/fish, and wine at Guard and Grace. Special thanks to Brock, Chris, and Mark for joining us!
Concert Time:
One of the best places to visit in Colorado is the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Our team went to see the Whiz Khalifa concert. Although it rained a bit. It didn’t stop our team from enjoying the view and music. But the best of the night were the Chick-Fil-A sandwiches at 11pm.
Final Day:
We started our final day early with golf for some team members and brunch of others.
We ended our retreat with a video call with Frank Calderoni, Anaplan’s CEO. The session was very insightful. He provided many interesting points that we plan to utilize in our growing company.
In Conclusion:
We are excited to see how much our team has grown since starting 2 years ago. As much as we enjoy utilizing Zoom for our company Happy Hours, this in person was much needed and the retreat has created many fun memories. As we continue to grow, there will be many more fun and exciting retreats! Until the next retreat everyone!
